GordonFreeman
Well, my doubts can be ridiculous. I'm having trouble because i not understand English perfectly.Global $password[1] Case $editpw _ArrayInsert($password, 0, Guictrlread( $input2)) _ArrayDelete($password, 1) Guictrlsetdata( $input1, $password[0])My goal is to remove the dependency of a cfg file. But this only works while the application is open, the operation would correct if it opens with the last placed password.but it with a blank fieldinput1 is the field that you visualize the current passwordinput2 is the field that you edit the current passwordeditpw is the button that you finished editing the current passwordNote: This is only a part of the script, and "Global $ password [1]" is in the top (after the includes) Edited November 25, 2011 by GordonFreeman Frabjous Installation
water
Why do you use an array with only 1 element? Just use a plain variable and overwrite the content when the password changes. GordonFreeman
Do I understand you correctly that you want to let the user change the password in a GUI, save it somewhere (ini-file, registry ...) and when you start the program again you want to read the password and display it in the GUI? I need to make this: #Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #AutoIt3Wrapper_Outfile=AAA.exe #EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <EditConstants.au3> #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <StaticConstants.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> #Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form= $Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 271, 164, 192, 124) $Input1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 112, 8, 145, 21) $Label1 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Current", 72, 8, 38, 17) $input2 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 112, 32, 145, 21) $Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Edit", 112, 56, 145, 25) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) #EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ### $password = IniRead ( "cfg.ini", "section", "key", "Error") guictrlsetdata($input1, $password) While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $Button1 IniWrite( "cfg.ini", "section", "key", guictrlread($input2)) sleep(100) guictrlsetdata( $input1, IniRead ( "cfg.ini", "section", "key", "Error")) EndSwitch WEnd I need this but without ini. That does not depend on a configuration file (Note: First open return error because there is no an ini file created) Frabjous Installation
BrewManNH
Unless you use the registry or a settings file, there's no way to save the contents of any arrays or variables once the program has ended. You have to save the contents somewhere or you'll lose them when you quit or restart the program/script. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
