ajit Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Hi, I want to allow only one user to use my software on a LAN (sort of single user licence). So as soon as a second copy of the exe is run on the local network the second exe gives an error message. How do I go about it? Please give me some suggestions. When you start your script, it could send data to each computer on the network, & then the running script could respond. As for @jhcd's suggestion, I have no idea how to go about named pipes. There is so little on the forum about them. Nothing much in the help file either.
