AviR
Hi, I'm new with AutoIt, and my question is regarding skipping interactive user commands. I have a WIN batch script that runs different tools. At one point the script ask the user to insert a username, password ... I want the script to "press" the Enter automatically, instead of the user to type the default username\password values and press the Enter. How can I do it with AutoIt? Thanks! water
Wouldn't it be easier to change the batch script (remove the input request) or even translate it as a whole to AutoIt? AviR
The input request will be removed eventually from the script. Meanwhile, I don't want it to be stuck each time I ran it. The script is pretty massive, so translating it to Autoit isn't an option. This is why I thought maybe there is a way to pass the input step with autoit. water
How is the user input requested? Does he have to enter the data in the DOS box or in a pop up window? Which command is used for the input? AviR
The input is requested in a DOS shell. The batch script activates different tools , among them a .cxx test that contains: cout << "Enter password:" << endl; getline(cin, password);
