We have a naming convention for our servers hostnames

LKIPRTI01

LKIQRTI01

LKIDRTI01

P = PRD

Q= QA

D=DEV

Trying to figure out how to make a script that reads the hostnames 4th character and then based on it would run a script

If P in the fourth character of host name then run P.EXE

else

If Q in the fourth character of host name then run Q.EXE

else

if D in the fourth character of host name then run D.EXE

else

msgbox "The comuter does not following

Any ideas on how to create a script like this in AutoIT?
