Developers Jos Posted December 24, 2011 Developers Share Posted December 24, 2011 You need some double-quotes around the program name and the input and make sure you have a space between EXE and /in. What wokrs best in these cases is to first figure out the correct commandline by going into the CMD window and manually typing it. Once that works you know you have the right syntax and you copy that line into your script. Developers Jos Posted December 24, 2011 Developers Share Posted December 24, 2011 Do what I told you to do: Go to the Command prompt and make it work manually first else this will be a guessing game. Moderators Melba23 Posted December 24, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 24, 2011 lifesux,What have you tried running at the command prompt? Post the exact text you typed in.I have compiled scripts from within another script as you are trying to do and it does work - you just need to get the syntax right. Developers Jos Posted December 24, 2011 Developers Share Posted December 24, 2011 i cant do it :SBullshit, of course you can when you set your mind to it.Now ask yourself the following questions first:- in which directory is aut2exe.exe located- in which directory is the script located that I want to compile.- Use this information and form the commandline command putting both the full paths in there surrounded with double quotes.Jos - SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past.
