Global Event when Control has been clicked

I got an onEvent driven GUI.

I want, that every time some control has been clicked (e.g. button, contextmenuitem,...), some function will be triggered.

In general words i am searching for a global event handler for all GUIControls, that handles clicks on them.

Something like:

GUIRegisterMsg($WM_CTRLCLICKED, ...)

:)

I cannot say whether WM_NOTIFY will be the event handler which monitors all the events you want.

Maybe you have to use several message codes to achieve it. Have a closer look to the windows message codes.

Unfotunately I don't believe there is one ring to rule them all. Some controls send messages on WM_Notify, some on WM_COMMAND, check out topic where I posted a demonstration script of how to do something similar.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
