Usually when I collect data from DataBase I need to give EndUser a possibility to select rows which should be taken in the processing loop.
I was searching on the forum and I'm not able to find any UDF or even example of how to select data from array.
I have my own solutions but I think they are not worth posting on the forum as it is very old code and I am looking for a better solution.
Could anybody point me to some examples/solutions ?
Thank you in advance.

Hello forum,
I have the problem that I can not use Firefox in combination with WebDriver when using AutoIt on some websites. Of course it does not work with the very website I need it to work with.
As soon as I want to open the desired website, I get the little robot icon which tells me that the "browser is under remote control" and the website stays blank.
I CAN open the website (www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de) but I get blocked when I want to go to my account, to be precise.
I am using AutoIt 3.3.14.5 I have checked my FireFox version. It is up to date. Also the special browser drivers like gecko etrc. are up to date too and everything works fine with the WebDriver demo.
It seems that another user also had the same problem, but the thread has already been closed and the users solution (setting security lower did not work for me).
I mean I can only choose between "standard", "strict" and "customized". On "customized I unchecked everything but it still would not change anything.
I also have checked Google Chrome and MS Edge. Same result.
I tried swiching profiles (only with FireFox). Same result.
I tried to acess a previously opened FireFox session where I manually logged in by using this code snippet:
_WD_Option('Driver', 'C:\Path\to\the\executable\geckodriver.exe') _WD_Option('DriverParams', '--log trace --connect-existing --marionette-port 2828') _WD_Option('Port', 4444) Obviously I adjusted the path of the geckodriver.exe but it did not work at all on my computer.
So far my code is really basically nothing but I can not even start to code. I myself am not a real coder and I know only the very basics like loops, conditions and variables.
----------------------------------------
; Script Start #include <Array.au3> #include <AutoItConstants.au3> #include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <EditConstants.au3> #include <File.au3> #include <GuiComboBoxEx.au3> #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <MsgBoxConstants.au3> #include <StringConstants.au3> #include <StaticConstants.au3> #include "wd_core.au3" #include "wd_helper.au3" #include <WindowsConstants.au3> Local $sDesiredCapabilities, $sSession, $sElement SetupGecko() $_WD_DEBUG = $_WD_DEBUG_None _WD_Startup() $sSession = _WD_CreateSession($sDesiredCapabilities) _WD_Navigate($sSession, "https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/m-meine-anzeigen.html?sort=CREATION_DATE_ASC&keyword=winter") Exit Func SetupGecko() _WD_Option('Driver', 'geckodriver.exe') _WD_Option('DriverParams', '--log trace --marionette-port 2828') _WD_Option('Port', 4444) $sDesiredCapabilities = '{"capabilities":{"alwaysMatch": {"moz:firefoxOptions": {"args": ["-profile", "' & "C:/Users/myaccount/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/0123456.default-release" & '"],"log": {"level": "trace"}}}}}' EndFunc ;==>SetupGecko Func SetupChrome() _WD_Option('Driver', 'chromedriver.exe') _WD_Option('Port', 9515) _WD_Option('DriverParams', '--verbose --log-path="' & @ScriptDir & '\chrome.log"') $sDesiredCapabilities = '{"capabilities": {"alwaysMatch": {"goog:chromeOptions": {"w3c": true, "excludeSwitches": [ "enable-automation"]}}}}' EndFunc ;==>SetupChrome Func SetupEdge() _WD_Option('Driver', 'msedgedriver.exe') _WD_Option('Port', 9515) _WD_Option('DriverParams', '--verbose --log-path="' & @ScriptDir & '\msedge.log"') $sDesiredCapabilities = '{"capabilities": {"alwaysMatch": {"ms:edgeOptions": {"binary": "' & StringReplace(@ProgramFilesDir, "\", "/") & '/Microsoft/Edge/Application/msedge.exe", "excludeSwitches": [ "enable-automation"], "useAutomationExtension": false}}}}' EndFunc ;==>SetupEdge --------------------------------------
I left the three setup functions in, because I do not care what browser I use as long as I can start coding.
Also, please understand that I am not trying to be lazy here. I do not want someone to code for me. Maybe the problem is very basic, but I just do not know how to eliminate that restriction.
Is it something I need to uncheck in the browser settings or is it more complicated? If you need more information, I will be happy to provide those.
If somebody has an idea or a solution, I would very much appreciate it.
Edit:
I am not bothered by the robot icon itself. I do not care about it. If I try to acess my regular ebay account: "https://mesg.ebay.de/mesgweb/ViewMessages/0" it works like a charm despite the notification that the browser is remotely controlled.
My problem is, that the first website does not load for some reason ONLY when the browser is remote controlled.

Recently I was working on a script with icons using GuiCtrkCreatIcon.
I decided to change the sub folder name of the icons to a more meaning name, however made a typo.
I tested the .exe on my test computer and it worked flawlessly (because both icon folder where on my test computer) 😁
But after I installed the script on the intended computers , I got chaos!😵
Zooming into the problem, I discovered, that because the icons could not be found, the ControlID were returned with a value of 0
and thus played havoc within the GuiGetMsg() switch/case statement.
I have been able to reproduce this (see example)
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> ;============================================================================================================ ; PLEASE, do not save this example in the example folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Examples\Helpfile ;============================================================================================================ Example() Func Example() GUICreate(" My GUI Icons", 250, 250) $Icon1 = GUICtrlCreateIcon("shell32.dll", 10, 20, 20) $Icon2 = GUICtrlCreateIcon(@ScriptDir & '\Extras\horse.ani', -1, 20, 40, 32, 32) $Icon3 = GUICtrlCreateIcon("shell32.dll", 7, 20, 75, 32, 32) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) ;$Icon2 = -1 ; ==> When this line is uncommented the script "works", so -1 could be a potential fix. ; Loop until the user exits. While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE ExitLoop Case $Icon2 Beep (500,500) EndSwitch WEnd GUIDelete() EndFunc ;==>Example If you save the above script outside the Autoit example folder and run it, it will keep beeping because GuiCtrlCreatIcon did not find horse.ani and return $Icon2=0.
At the moment GUICtrlCreateIcon () only returns the conntrolID on success and 0 on failure.
I would like to propose a return of -1 on failure, so a existing and working script won't go awry when the icon can not be found.

My solution is to write nested arrays without copying.
The problem was described hier.

Hello everyone,
I have several signals on the screen that need to be monitored while a program is running. These signals are scattered around an image which is maximized on 4 equal resolution screens - the AutoIT Window Info does not recognize any objects on the program meaning that I'm left with the PixelSearch() and PixelCheckSum() functions to monitor the signals:
The signals are as small as a 5x5 pixel area and their coordinates are known.
I've been digging around for a while now in this forum about the PixelSearch() and PixelCheckSum() and found some interesting and useful ideas for the use of them. I also came across some other UDF functions like MultiMon(), FastFind(), TtColXY() and the ImageSearch2015 scripts that might be useful for the final output. I don't know if hovering the mouse by using TtColXY() and output its ToolTip() information onto the log file will be faster than using PixelSearch() and/or PixelCheckSum() in a loop for all signals' coordinates.
The colours of the signals are below:
red - 0x00FF00 (opaque red)
green - 0x00FF00 (opaque green)
yellow - 0xFFFF00 (opaque yellow)
black - 0x000000 (opaque black, default colour)
EDIT:
The desired output is to monitor and record/log the changes and status of each inside a .txt file or a .csv with the below format:
Local Machine Time Signal, Change, delta-t
14:32:07 Signal1 Green - Yellow DELTA-t1
14:34:02 Signal1 Yellow - Red DELTA-t1
14:35:14 Signal2 Yellow - Red DELTA-t2
...
Below is the code I came up with.
#include <AutoItConstants.au3> #include <MsgBoxConstants.au3> #include <misc.au3> #include <Date.au3> #include <Array.au3> #include <File.au3> #include <ScreenCapture.au3> #include <WinAPI.au3> #include <WinAPIHObj.au3> Global $program_name, $program_open, $Wname, $tCurrent Global $button_xy[2] = [150, 175] Global $iniColour, $ColourCheck, $NewCheck Global $Red, $Green, $Blue, $Nil Global $sFilePath = @ScriptDir & "\Signals_status.txt" Global $SignalID[10] = ["Signal_1", "Signal_2", "Signal_3", "Signal_4", "Signal_5", "Signal_6", "Signal_7", "Signal_8", "Signal_9", "Signal_10"] $program_name = "Signals.exe" $Wname = "Training Task 3" $program_open = ShellExecute($program_name, @ScriptDir) WinWait($Wname) $iniColour = "0x" & Hex(PixelGetColor($button_xy[0], $button_xy[1]), 6) ;~ $iniChecksum = "0x" & Hex(PixelChecksum($button_xy[0], $button_xy[0] - 5, $button_xy[1], $button_xy[1] + 5), 6) $ColourCheck = "0x" & Hex(PixelChecksum($button_xy[0], $button_xy[0] - 5, $button_xy[1], $button_xy[1] + 5, 1, $Wname), 6) ConsoleWrite(_ColourID($iniColour) & " // " & _ColourID($ColourCheck) & @CRLF) ;~ $ColourCheck = "0x " & Hex(PixelGetColor($button_xy[0], $button_xy[1]), 6) $iniColour = $ColourCheck ;$iniChecksum = $currentCheck Do ;~ While 1 _WindowOnTop() _Close_Notepad() $NewCheck = "0x" & Hex(PixelChecksum($button_xy[0], $button_xy[0] - 5, $button_xy[1], $button_xy[1] + 5, 1, $Wname), 6) $tCurrent = _NowCalc() $LogFile = FileOpen($sFilePath, 2) FileWriteLine($LogFile, "Local Machine Time " & "Signal, " & "Change, " & "delta-t") ;~ $ColourCheck = "0x" & Hex(PixelChecksum($button_xy[0], $button_xy[0] - 5, $button_xy[1], $button_xy[1] + 5, 1, $Wname), 6) If $ColourCheck <> $NewCheck Then ;If there's a colour change from the current colour $ColourCheck = $NewCheck Local $tChange, $NewCheckID, $ColourCheckID, $sLogMsg $tChange = _NowCalc() ConsoleWrite("Colour changed!" & @CRLF) $ColourCheckID = _ColourID($ColourCheck) $NewCheckID = _ColourID($NewCheck) $iTimeDiffh = _DateDiff('h', $tChange, $tCurrent) ; time difference in hours $iTimeDiffm = _DateDiff('n', $tChange, $tCurrent) ; time difference in minutes $iTimeDiffs = _DateDiff('s', $tChange, $tCurrent) ; time difference in seconds $durationCheckSum = $iTimeDiffh & ":" & $iTimeDiffm & ":" & $iTimeDiffs ; Timestamp of the signal until PixelCheckSum $sLogMsg = " " & $SignalID[0] & " " & $ColourCheckID & " - " & $NewCheckID & " " & $durationCheckSum _FileWriteLog($LogFile, $sLogMsg) ElseIf $ColourCheck = $NewCheck Then Local $Colour_check = _ColourID("0x" & Hex(PixelChecksum($button_xy[0], $button_xy[0] - 5, $button_xy[1], $button_xy[1] + 5, 1, $Wname), 6)) ConsoleWrite($tCurrent & " " & $Colour_check & @CRLF) EndIf FileClose($sFilePath) Until Not ProcessExists($program_name) And Not WinExists($Wname) _IsProgramOpen() Func _Close_Notepad() $notepad_open = ProcessExists("notepad.exe") ?
