Recommended Posts

Hi, script explaining :)

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 346, 247, -1, -1)
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Show the box", 136, 112, 83, 33)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

While 1
$nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
Switch $nMsg
Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
Exit
Case $Button1
InputBox("test box", ".........", "", "", "10", "130") ; here working because i haven't used hwnd
;~  InputBox("test box", ".........", "", "", "10", "130", "", "", "", $form1) ; here not working
EndSwitch
WEnd

Edit: Centering it or make it above the $form1 wherever it is. ;)

Command3r,

local $form1 = guicreate('My Form',346,247)
centers the gui.

Command3r,

Find out where the main GUI is and do some maths: :)

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 346, 247)
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Show the box", 136, 112, 83, 33)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case $Button1
            $aPos = WinGetPos($Form1)
            InputBox("test box", ".........", "", "", 240, 120, $aPos[0] + (($aPos[2] - 240) / 2), $aPos[1] + (($aPos[3] - 120) / 2), 0, $Form1) ; here working!!!!!!
    EndSwitch
WEnd
