Hi All,

I am eager to know that is possible to make the system tray icon to be blink ? For example, if i am executing one of my autoit script, while running i want that system tray icon to be flashed... is that possible to do ?

TraySetState ( [ flag ] )

Flag = 4 - Blinking icon, 8 - Stops blinking

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

sorry, i think i put a question in wrong way..! i want to make the task bar icon to be flashed...

for example, if i use the below code it flashes the icon in system tray.. in the same way i would like to do for the icon in task bar.. is it possible ?

You're asking for something that should be in it's own thread in the General section, this UDF is for the Systray Icons and not the task bar. You're derailing this thread to somewhere inappropriate.

You're asking for something that should be in it's own thread in the General section, this UDF is for the Systray Icons and not the task bar. You're derailing this thread to somewhere inappropriate.
