Help! I'm a beginner

Recommended Posts

I tryed to create my first scripts and I'm already stucked :) Can you guys help me please to find out what's wrong? I'm not a developer nor I have development skills.

Ex. 1:

#Include

$s_Url = "http://youtube.com" _IECreate ( $s_Url, 0, 1,0 , 1 )

And on F5 I get:

>"C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\..\autoit3.exe" /ErrorStdOut "C:\Users\xxxxx\Desktop\Automation Testing\My first Script - Copy.au3"

C:\Users\xxxxx\Desktop\Automation Testing\My first Script - Copy.au3 (13) : ==> Cannot parse #include.:

Ex. 2: exaclty as it appears in their Help file:

#include <IE.au3>

Local $oIE = _IECreate("www.autoitscript.com")

I get only

>"C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\..\autoit3.exe" /ErrorStdOut "C:\Users\gcascava\Desktop\Automation Testing\My first Script - Copy.au3"

Not that wuould help me to give another hint, becuase I'm a profane, but I'm very disapointed I got stucked so early in the procces:((

Hi, GabrielaC81, welcome to the forum. The error is telling you that you need to include the file IE.au3. Your first line of code just says

#Include

$s_Url = "http://youtube.com" _IECreate ( $s_Url, 0, 1,0 , 1 )

It should read:

#include <ie.au3>
$s_Url = "http://youtube.com" _IECreate ( $s_Url, 0, 1,0 , 1 )
