Inter-script communication

Is there a way for two uncompiled {or one compiled, the other not} to communicate directly with each other? For example;

  • Script A waits for event X to happen
  • A runs a ShellExecute on script B, passing information from X as a parameter
  • A continues doing its thing, running in a loop and keeping an eye out for other events while B executes
  • B completes and sends a result Y back to A
  • A processes Y
I've been experimenting with ConsoleWrite/ConsoleRead, but haven't had much luck. Edited by Quinch

Did you search the forum for "ISC" or "inter script communication"?

A lot of solutions pop up.
