cyx54tc
Func keypress($key,Const $delay=$DefaultPause,Const $postdelay=0,Const $times=1)....endfuncI know i can do keypress("a") and it would work perfectlybut if i don't want to fill in the parameter for $delay and $postdelay but $timeskeypress("a",,2) would give me Error in expressionany idea? BrewManNH
Usually there is a default value for each of the optional parameters, if you use any of the optional parameters you have to use all of the optional ones that are to its left. In this case you would use whatever $DefaultPause is supposed to equal and 0 for the postdelay parameter. BrewManNH
Write your own functions, you can put whatever you'd need for your own parameters, you can even write a wrapper for other's functions that uses default settings for parameters. But, if the function has parameters you'll need to make sure that you have values in them or you'll get errors. cyx54tc
that is my own function actually, but sometimes i need to set all 4 params, and sometimes i only need to set 2, could be 1,4 or 1,3..so i was thinking if there is a way i could leave the field blank and AutoIT would uses the default then it would be really nice. i used to do that a lot in the other language i used to use so was hoping AutoIT could do it also.
