Hello all. i am new with AutoIt and this is a little script i built to log in gmail account automatically.

$Accountname = "abc@gmail.com";

$Pass = "password";

ControlSend($hWnd, "", "", $Accountname);

Sleep(100)

ControlSend($hWnd, "", "", "{TAB}");

Sleep(100)

ControlSend($hWnd, "", "", $Pass);

Sleep(100)

and the problem is i always got abc2gmail.com instead of abc@gmail.com.

Could anyone please give me some idea about what should be done to make it work? I really appreciate it.

Welcome to AutoIt and the forum!

It depends on the keyboard layout. If you enter @ manually do you have to press the shift or alt key?

If yes, you have to use this key in the send command too.

Or you send the ASCII value of @ like:

Send("{ASC 064}")
