Since there's no Multithreading....

You would need some kind of communication between the two instances. You don't want to do all tasks twice, you want to allocate some task to the first and some other tasks to the second intance.

Search for IPC - Inter process communication. One of the best solutions was written by trancexx and can be found

Not really. When you launch more than once the same executable, you get completely distinct and independant processes.

Multi-threading is really for programs that need to have more than one independant execution paths in parallel, each thread having its own working variables area and at the same time share a common memory space, synchronized by mutual exclusive barriers built into the multi-threading infrastructure.

Turn to the IPC refered to by Water (while I was typing).

Yes.

But if you post your code maybe we can help to keep it simple and in one script.

I know what it looks like, but it's not going to be used for that...

#AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=N
#RequireAdmin
#include <INet.au3>

; Register the cleanup function.
OnAutoItExitRegister("Cleanup")
; Open a "SOCKET"

;==============================================
$IP = X.XX.X.X.X.X.X.X.X.X
$PORT = X.X.X.X.X

  UDPStartup()
   $socket = UDPOpen($IP, $PORT)
    Sleep(100)
$String1 = GetRandomString(128,256)
    $status = UDPSend($socket, $String1)

    UDPCloseSocket($socket)
    UDPShutdown()

Func Cleanup()
    UDPCloseSocket($socket)
    UDPShutdown()
EndFunc

Func GetRandomString($min=1,$max=8)
    Local $retString
    For $x = 1 to int(Random($min,$max+1)-.5)
        $retString &= StringLower(Chr(Random(65,90,1)))
    Next
    Return $retString
EndFunc

Func _StringBetween2($s, $from, $to)
    $x = StringInStr($s, $from) + StringLen($from)
    $y = StringInStr(StringTrimLeft($s, $x), $to)
    Return StringMid($s, $x, $y)
EndFunc  ;==>_StringBetween

I made something that types a

But if I want the a to be sent twice as fast, and since i can't thread another a into the program,

I can just open two up, correct?

Ahh Im going to say no. If the situation was that you need to send "a" while showing a msgbox, or while doing something else them maybe, but just to try and send the keys faster is not going to work imo. Putting send("a") in a loop with no sleep is most likely already to fast for whatever the application is to interpret.
