i would like to put " as a value

$example = " " "

i left the spaces there intentionally to clarify it a bit

now i've looked at the help file and the faq yet i havent found any anwsers

this could be due to the fact that i'm lacking in my english grammar

AutoIt supports two types of quotes, single and double.

So please try:

$example = ' " '

Or to have a double quote in a double quote delimited string you have to use two quotes. Like:

$example = " "" "

Details can be found here - topic: Strings.
