DGClarke1
I am talking to an application that uses one if these lists, and while I can select an entry of my choice, AutoIT doesn't seem to select it like a mouse does. I am using this statement : ControlListView("Window Title", "Window Text", "SysListView32","Select",0) to select the top item. This does appear to select it, but not as clicking it with a mouse. The 2 attached screenshots show the difference. Autoit.png shows the effect of the statement click.png shows the effect of clicking with a mouse. I need the mouse type effect. Anyone have any ideas? I'd be really grateful. Dave
BrewManNH
Try using _GUICtrlListView_ClickItem, see the help file for how it works, and see if that fixes the issue. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
