How to suppress pop-up windows

Recommended Posts

First off, thanks to everyone for helping in advance!

I have an automated process that runs in the background, and periodically I'll encounter pop-ups from it.

A few pop-ups I've noticed so far are:

Word: Save As (I want to click cancel)

Word: Open as read-only? (I want to click cancel)

Excel: Save As (I want to click cancel)

Excel: Open as read-only? (I want to click cancel)

Basically what I want to create, is an app that is constantly running in the background, searching for these windows. Once they are encountered, I'd like to click cancel... that's it

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply...

Is this something that I can make an .exe file, that will continuously run, and scan for open windows? Then suppress them by clicking cancel..?

I want it to be an active running background process to simply click cancel when the window pops up.

Is this a program you have written yourself?
