Well, I read Jos' post and if even he doesn't think it's good idea in his own utilities then what chance do I stand?  But I will look into it and at least try something when the time comes.

Well, I read Jos' post and if even he doesn't think it's good idea in his own utilities then what chance do I stand?  But I will look into it and at least try something when the time comes.

 

In general I am trying to keep everything backwards compatible and functioning but there is a reason for releasing updates as Beta first.

I only do releases of all updated utilities in a total installer package and would think it is a bad idea to offer Beta versions actively without people knowing what they get into.

If you pursuit this any ways then tell people not to come crying to me when things don't work as expected any more. ;)

Can You add new feature to SciTE Customization GUI ?

To stop the output pane from automatically scrolling, set output.scroll to 0. To have the output pane scroll and return back to the line of the executed command, set output.scroll to 1. If you want the output pane to scroll and remain at the bottom after execution, set output.scroll to 2.

I do not think this feature in the future added to the standard distribution SciTE4AutoIT

But we can ask Jos about that.

I am only considering features that will serve a larger group of people to be added to the standard installation, but that doesn't mean you can't add it yourself.

It will keep on working after upgrades when added in the right way.
