How to solve the error: Cannot redeclare a constant:

Recommended Posts

Hi i am new to AutoIt and tying to debug a script writeen by another developer and getting the above error everytime i use the script i get this error.

Any help is very helpful

Thanks

Simple, a variable (the ones that look like $this) is being declared/set as a const (a variable that cannot change etc) and is being reassigned another value possibly within an included UDF library or your script, it would help if you posted the code so we can tell you which ones they are, all you need to do is rename them of remove the ones in your script if the value of the variable that was predeclared has the same value as the one being redeclared.
