Megasoum
Hello everyone, I need some advice. I would like to make a tool that would allow employees to punch in/out over the network from their own computer. While I'm confortable with the scripting part, I have practically no experience on the database side. Anybody have any suggestions to what I should use for the database? There would be around 80 employees over the same LAN and since this is just for time sheet purposes there would be an hour or so of traffic in the morning and another hour of traffic at the end of the day but other than that it would be pretty much dead. I heard about MySQL but maybe that's bit of an overkill for what I need? I don't know... Any advices? Thanks!
JohnOne
I doubt MySQL would be overkill really if you are keeping count of 160 logs per day. It could quickly grow.
