Please help me with this code.

The program does not wait until you push the button. Instead, it automatically pops up a message box.Help!!!

Menu code:

$Menu_p = GUICtrlCreateMenu("Menu")

$Menu_ustawienia = GUICtrlCreateMenuItem("Ustawienia", $Menu_p)

$Menu_wyjscie = GUICtrlCreateMenuItem("Wyjście", $Menu_p)

While code:

While 1

$nMsg = GUIGetMsg()

If $nMsg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Or $Menu_wyjscie Then

WinSetOnTop("Tv", "", 0)

MsgBox(0, "Info", "Dziękuję")

Exit

EndIf

WEnd

Hi, jacq. I don't see anything overtly wrong with the syntax of what you have, but it is obviously not all of your code. Can you post your entire code, so we can get a sense of the GUI you're creating? This will help us help you.

Jacq, please do not PM me asking for personal support, that is what this forum is for, as stated in the forum rules. Also, if you would like your post to receive assistance, please post your code in between CODE tags. This makes it MUCH easier to read.

Your problem is with this line:

;If $nMsg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Or $Menu_wyjscie Then
If $nMsg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Or $nMsg = $Menu_wyjscie Then ; <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< this is the corrected version

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

jacq,

When you post code please use Code tags - put [autoit] before and [/autoit] after your posted code. I have done it for the code you added to the first post, but please do it yourself in future.
