lokalhero
Hi all, another noobish question here... I've written a silly little script which acts like a fake virus to annoy/troll one of my workmates. It's very simple. It displays a message box with the words "Virus alert! - Click cancel to remove", of course there is no cancel button, and the script is set to loop 10,000 times, every time the OK button or close button is clicked. What I need now though is to write-protect the script and prevent the user from ending the process via task manager, because as it is, he can just stop the script running. How do I go about fixing this? Also, is there a way of hiding the autoit icon in the system tray? It seems a little too obvious at the moment. Any help will be much appreciated Thanks in advance. lokalhero
Strange... I can't see any wording there that includes fake/joke scripts. I haven't created any malware, just a joke script to annoy a work colleague.
Moderators Melba23 Posted March 21, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 21, 2012 lokalhero,This comes under the "other forms of malware" prohibition. We all detest joke scripts like this - do you think the AV companies bother to check it is just "fun" before adding AutoIt to their blacklist? Answer - No. Do not ever post anything like this again or sanctions will follow.
