clipboard as integer

Hi, I would like to use a value on the screen (which I get through the clipboard) in a loop. Unfortunately, it now recognizes this value as a string and I can't seem to convert this into an integer.

try using Int() to convert a string to an integer.

And Number() to convert a string to a number

Local $var = Int(10.793) ;$var is the integer 10

Local $w = Number(1 + 2 + 10) ;returns 13
Local $x = Number("3.14") ;returns 3.14
Local $y = Number("24/7") ;returns 24
Local $z = Number("tmp3") ;returns 0

Thanks, but I still have an issue as it doesn't recognize the function.

Take for example following code:

$TestVar = Int(%Clipboard%)
MsgBox %$TestVar%

In the clipboard, I have value 3, but in the message box, I get Int(3)

Or am I forgetting something? Anything to activate in the beginning of the code?

Are you sure that is AutoIt code?

What does the title of this Forum say? I suggest you familiarise yourself with the history of AutoIt before you continue.
