evilC
Hi, I am new to AutoIt, though I have quite a lot of experience with AHK, but I have a problem that I cannot seem to solve with AHK (or any other program I know of), so I am hoping you guys might be able to help. What I would like to do is to reprogram the mouse wheel to keys. For example, a common setup might be wheel up as 1, wheel down as 2. I have a logitech tilt wheel mouse, so I might normally have wheel left and right as 3 and 4, but logitech SetPoint lets me reprogram that OK, so it is only really wheel up and down that concerns me.The problem lies with only certain games. When I reprogram wheel up and down, the remap will work, but the normal function for the mouse wheel (typically zoom in/out or cycle weapons) also triggers. I guess the games are using some low level hook to read the mouse wheel and the remapper is not able to cull those events.I tried some sample scripts, for example I tried and a modified version of (Stripped out non-mousewheel related stuff and added a while 1 to make it run constantly) but I saw the same issue.Has anyone got any ideas? For reference purposes, here are some free games that exhibit this problem:Bloodline Champions - Start a bot match, set to unlimited time else match will end, making testing awkward.Runes of Magic - Largeish download, though maybe easier to test with as character remains in world.Cheers
