I'm trying to run a Dos EXE file

The class of the EXE is ConsoleWindowClass and its a pretty old DOS exe file

when i try to run it, the exe file seems to freeze at its mainscreen. if i push a key like the letter "a" then it will type "a" all over the screen. any clue whats going on?

Local $sDOSEXEFilePath = "C:\Users\GTEM_M_E.EXE"
Run($sDOSEXEFilePath)

 Just a try-out, but I suggest you try ShellExecute() instead of Run(). _RunDOS() probably won't work here, since it hides the command window.

Hope this solves your problem.

I'd use the program DOSBox instead of trying to run it straight from Windows, it's probably a conflict somewhere along the line.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

ShellExecute still seems to create the same problem

What is the program DOSBox? Is it a third party app that I need to download? Because if it is, I'd rather just create a dialog box before running the script to tell the user to have the DOS EXE open before running.

Any other suggestion guys?

Try to start it manually and then from a bat file or from a cmd window to see differences.
