Ram
Hi, I am looking for a way to create specific folder name from a given file name. File name format is like: MJ - justbeatit.mp3 I want the folder name to be MJ. (that is characters before " - " is the folder name) The above can be done using "StringRegExp" but I don't know the syntax. Can somebody help me out please. Thanks! BrewManNH
Try this: $Array = StringSplit("MJ - justbeatit.mp3", " - ", 1); this will return an array ; $Array[0] will contain 2 ; $Array[1] will contain "MJ" ;$Array[2] will contain "justbeatit.mp3" If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
