TrayMenuMode Problem!

Recommended Posts

Hy !

i have created a small script that check a clickes and save it into array.

and gives to the user a TrayTip if the condition is true (as you can see in the including code)

The only problem i have is that the TrayTip is Jumping to the screen only if the mouse is move

on the AutoIt icon.

if the mouse didnt touch it... its doesnt show any TrayTip ...

any ideas how can i make it work? like backgruond working?

here the code:

for $i = 1 to $count
  if $u= $s[$i] Then
   ControlFocus("[CLASS:Shell_TrayWnd]","","ToolbarWindow321")
   TrayTip("Test", ""& $note[$i], 6, 1)
  EndIf
Next

Substitute ToolTip for TrayTip possibly?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

No it doesn't, it creates a tooltip where ever you tell it to create the tooltip and it shows up as soon as you create the tooltip. You're obviously doing it wrong.

For $I = 1 To 500
    $MousePos = MouseGetPos()
    ToolTip("This is a tooltip", $MousePos[0], $MousePos[1])
Sleep(20) ; Sleep to give tooltip time to display
Next

This snippet will create a tooltip that follows your mouse pointer around the screen for about 10 seconds.
