GUICtrlSetData does not keep order ?

Recommended Posts

Dear all,

here is a question I've got with GUICtrlSetData function. The result in the Listbox is "ESTT", it should be "TEST".

The string is checked as correct just before its upload into Listbox.

Could you provide any help ?

Thanx you very much ;)

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <Array.au3>
Example()
Func Example()
Local $msg
GUICreate("My GUI") ; will create a dialog box that when displayed is centered
GUICtrlCreateList("", 10, 10)
Dim $iCompteurFichiers
Dim $TabListeFichiersTransformes[1]
$iCompteurFichiers += 1
_ArrayInsert($TabListeFichiersTransformes, $iCompteurFichiers, "T")
$iCompteurFichiers += 1
_ArrayInsert($TabListeFichiersTransformes, $iCompteurFichiers, "E")
$iCompteurFichiers += 1
_ArrayInsert($TabListeFichiersTransformes, $iCompteurFichiers, "S")
$iCompteurFichiers += 1
_ArrayInsert($TabListeFichiersTransformes, $iCompteurFichiers, "T")
$StrString = _ArrayToString($TabListeFichiersTransformes, "|", 1)
msgbox(4096,"",$StrString)
GUICtrlSetData(-1, $StrString)
GUISetState() ; will display an empty dialog box with a combo control with focus on
; Run the GUI until the dialog is closed
While 1
  $msg = GUIGetMsg()
  If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then ExitLoop
WEnd
EndFunc   ;==>Example

bordelaisuser,

By default the List control has the $LBS_SORT style - so you need to make sure that it is not present: ;)

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#include <Array.au3>
Example()
Func Example()
    Local $msg
    GUICreate("My GUI") ; will create a dialog box that when displayed is centered
    GUICtrlCreateList("", 10, 10, 380, 380, BitOr($WS_BORDER, $WS_VSCROLL))
    Dim $iCompteurFichiers
    Dim $TabListeFichiersTransformes[1]
    $iCompteurFichiers += 1
    _ArrayInsert($TabListeFichiersTransformes, $iCompteurFichiers, "T")
    $iCompteurFichiers += 1
    _ArrayInsert($TabListeFichiersTransformes, $iCompteurFichiers, "E")
    $iCompteurFichiers += 1
    _ArrayInsert($TabListeFichiersTransformes, $iCompteurFichiers, "S")
    $iCompteurFichiers += 1
    _ArrayInsert($TabListeFichiersTransformes, $iCompteurFichiers, "T")
    $StrString = _ArrayToString($TabListeFichiersTransformes, "|", 1)
    MsgBox(4096, "", $StrString)
    GUICtrlSetData(-1, $StrString)
    GUISetState() ; will display an empty dialog box with a combo control with focus on
    ; Run the GUI until the dialog is closed
    While 1
        $msg = GUIGetMsg()
        If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then ExitLoop
    WEnd
EndFunc   ;==>Example

The Setting Styles tutorial in the Wiki might be of interest. :)
