SciLexer.dll - How to added extra Lexer table

Recommended Posts

hello to all ...

the LexAu3.cxx source file has two entrys like below...

// Apr 8, 2006 - Added support for AutoIt3 Standard UDF library (SCE_AU3_UDF)

// Mar 27, 2009 - Added Extra Lexer user UDFs table (SCE_AU3_USERUDF)

my question is, if it is possible to add another Lexer (SCE_AU3_OWNUDF)???

I want to highlight syntax like this :

for example:

AutoIt3 Standard UDF's ==> in blue

AutoIt3 UDF's from other Users downloaded from the Forum ==> in green

AutoIt3 UDF's from myself ==> in limegreen

i tried my changes to source code of SciTE.exe & SciLexer.dll to compile,

but the result was, that my own keywordlist was highlighted.

AutoIt Sentkeys was not longer possible to be colored

has anyone an idea...... where the mistake is

or

can someone help me compile the code

IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO SO!!!

thanks to all

Run SciTEConfig instead, you're doing it wrong. Plus, add your own function's names to the au3.keywords.properties file to get them colored the same as the standard UDF colors.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
