Autoit Info Tool

Hello people,

Does anyone knows any tool similar to Autoit Info Tool that can reccomend me to use???

I have some tools but if someone knows some tools that are pretty good i would appriciate it.

Not what i expected. Good info tool but i didnt saw it giving me more info than autoit tool info :/

I am trying to catch a window id and work on it. I got the controlID names of the objects that it contains from the creator of the programm. None of the tool infos i have used until now cant find them :/

What kind of application are you talking about? MS .Net, java ...?

Yes, but depending on the way the GUI is created an Info tool can detect the controls .. or not.

Check this and you'll see what I mean.

Yes but since au3 info tool can detect them it means that i can access in it.

The only problem is that that the autoit tool cant get any further than one point. So thats why im asking if someone knows some other tool more powerfull

that are able to edit even more than au3 tool info..

The AutoIt window info tool shows one control at a time (the one you moved the crosshair to). You look for a tool that shows all controls (IDs) of a window in a list?

Some programms have some protections which they will confuse my window spy programm or they will not allow it to access succesfully and the the name of it so i can work on it.

For example the au3 tool is giving me resault that the window Edit is named InputTxt and the real name of it is not that(as i have been told from the creator of the program). This means that they have some protections to avoid automatation etc???? That the autoit tool is getting confused? It cannot reach the item to get the right controlID of it??? What???

There must be some tools which can do it!!

But it still cant get the actuall name of the controlId of the items :/ The creator of the programm told me that is well prepared for these kind of stuff and it is well protected... But since i get the name of the controlID of the items why cant i work on them???

As the creator of the program has put some effort into protecting his program why do you want to automated it at all?

I have been asked from the Admins of the programm. Just to make their life easier...

I am trying to automate it in the easy way and not reverse it.....

I don't understand why you are not just using the the controlID/Names you have been supplied with by the developer.

Because i got only 2 names. He just wanted to show me why my program is not working...
