Juste some quick questions

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just found out about auto it. I'm using delphi 7 and I just installed it / tested somethings.

I just have some quick question to help me decide if this is what i've been looking for, I would be very grateful if anyone answered :

I will be automating actions that will take time but everything should take place inside my application form, will the users of my application have access / control to the other windows or does the Form autoit is working on have to be OnTop ? If so, is there a way around that ??

Where can I get an idea of the events / propreties of the dll and their syntax ?

Thank you

AutoIt can work with minimized and even hidden windows, so your users can open any other window while AutoIt is doing the job.. ;)

What DLL?

I believe the OP is referring to the AUTOITX.dll.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

How to ask questions the smart way!

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
