Moderators Melba23 Posted May 13, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 13, 2012 wojtas,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. The edit control created by GUICtrlCreateEdit can only have a single colour for its text and backgoround. A RichEdit control can have several colours, but for a syntax-based colour scheme you will need a lexer (This is the only AutoIt example that I know about and it uses the Scintilla lexer from SciTE to do the magic). Quite frankly, I would start with an easier project if I were you.
