Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted May 30, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 30, 2012 Hi, Redawg, welcome to the forum. When you say "deploy", how are you delivering the script to the machines (Altiris, SCCM, A.D., etc.)? The method of deployment may have a bearing on how you resolve your issue. Redawg
Hi, Jlogan i am delivering the script via OCS, basically it will "launch" the script using the system account, and when it reads inside the current user it wont find the actual currently logged user instead it finds the system account settings. i need a way to point to the current logged user's registry in order to read the information i need. any ideas? thanks in advance. BrewManNH
Can it be added to the startup menu instead of running through the registry? Or even better, if you use AD can you have it run with Group Policy at log on? If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
