How do I run a script with a keystroke shortcut?

Hi, everyone. I apologize for asking such an idiotic question, but I'm very new to this. I've looked in the Help files and the forum and am just not sure *how* to find the information I'm looking for, so I'm hoping one of you can point me in the right direction.

I want to be able to run an AutoIt script by assigning a keystroke shortcut, instead of double-clicking on the .au3 file icon. Can someone tell me where to find documentation/examples I can look at? Is this even a feature of AutoIt?

Thanks so much for y'all's patience....

The ability to run something with a keystroke is not so much an AutoIt feature as it is a Windows one.

What you need to do is create a shortcut to your script either on the desktop or in your Start menu, and assign a keystroke to it via its properties. The keystroke should then launch your script.
