Newbie again??

Forget the UAC. I understand why.

I am trying to run the Firefox install. I get the install to start and I have a WinWaitActive that works because I put a message box after the WinWaitActive but none of the commands after the message box run.

I am doing a Send("!n") and it does not work.

Look at controlclick, in the help file, rather then Send.

Edit: Also as a friendly suggestion, put more accurate thread titles, so its easier for people searching can see what you really asked for help with.

xfiles,

Could you please use descriptive thread titles in future - we can see you are new here by the post count and giving an idea of the problem involved helps attract those who know something about it. ;)

Hi, xfiles. Just out of curiosity, why not run the silent install of Firefox with the /s switch. Then you can skip the WinWaitActivate; just run your MessagBoxes before or after the the install.
