SciTE Editor problem

Recommended Posts

Hi guys ;)

A little but very annoying problem with the new version (2.28) of SciTE editor included in last AutoIT installation...

I have a problem with syntax language check and view in the editor. See the attch pic...

No blue-bolded text for some autoit words and no _* functions in the help context menu.

I have win xp sp3. What's wrong??

THX

Try to download the new version 3.20

Edit: if it doesn't solve your problem, try to uninstall SciTE4AutoIt3, delete the SciTE directory of the AutoIt path (save your data if needed), delete all related Scite files in your home directory (c:users_user_name_) they are files with .properties extension and some others, and then re-install the new version

I reinstall it from the exe (download page): yeah works great now, thanks ;)

How can I customize the syntax? I.e., if I want to change the functions color, what can I do?

Thanks a lot for support

If you've downloaded the full version of Scite4AutoIt3 you can go to the tools menu and run SciteConfig and set the colors and other settings from within that program.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
