Problem with PixelSearch

Recommended Posts

If i use the second code does the if statement think that the error should be within the

Send("{SPACE}")
line?

First Code

$Test = PixelSearch(176,417,570,736,0x5A5366, 10)
if not @error Then msgbox(0,"tt","Found it")
if @error Then msgbox(0,"tt","Could not find it")

Second Code

$Test = PixelSearch(176,417,570,736,0x5A5366, 10)
Send("{SPACE}")
if not @error Then msgbox(0,"tt","Found it")
if @error Then msgbox(0,"tt","Could not find it")

The help file doesn't show the Send command as returning an @error.

Whenever someone says "pls" because it's shorter than "please", I say "no" because it's shorter than "yes".

Second Code

$Test = PixelSearch(176,417,570,736,0x5A5366, 10)
Send("{SPACE}")
if not @error Then msgbox(0,"tt","Found it")
if @error Then msgbox(0,"tt","Could not find it")

In this script, the @error being checked is the return from the Send command, you'd either have to check if $Test is an array, as jdelaney suggested, or save the @error returned into a variable, and check it later in the script. @error gets reset after every function is run.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
