qwert Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) On Win 7, the "default" text size for GUI text can be enlarged to Medium or Large. This wreaks havoc on GUIs that have carefully positioned text — like text overlaid on a graphic. Win 7 warns of this ... so I need my script to check and compensate. qwert Posted June 14, 2012 Author Share Posted June 14, 2012 Well, if no one has an easier way, this works: Local $var = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ThemeManager", "LastLoadedDPI") MsgBox(4096, "Current Registry Setting is: ", $var) It returns either 96 or 120 or 150, with 150 being "large". Reportedly, "LastLoadedDPI" works on all Windows versions. I tested it on Win 7. It's apparent from my testing that DPI affects some applications and not others.
