blb078
I'm trying to have some code loop w/a counter and to keep running after it does the function once the count has met but start back over. What I have currenty is. While $counter < 3 some code here $counter = $counter +1 WEnd FunctionAfterCountMet() When I run it, it kind of works only that it doesn't start back over at the top after the count is met and it does the function, it just stops after that. water
You want an infinite loop that calls a function when a value is met and then starts over again? Something like this? Make sure that you add some code to end the script!$counter = 0 $limit = 3 While 1 some code here If $counter = $limit Then FunctionAfterCountMet() $counter = 0 Else $counter += 1 EndIf WEnd Edited June 14, 2012 by water My UDFs and Tutorials: Spoiler UDFs:Active Directory (NEW 2022-02-19 - Version 1.6.1.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiExcelChart (2017-07-21 - Version 0.4.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Example ScriptsOutlookEX (2021-11-16 - Version 1.7.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiOutlookEX_GUI (2021-04-13 - Version 1.4.0.0) - DownloadOutlook Tools (2019-07-22 - Version 0.6.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - WikiPowerPoint (2021-08-31 - Version 1.5.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiTask Scheduler (NEW 2022-07-28 - Version 1.6.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki Standard UDFs:Excel - Example Scripts - WikiWord - Wiki Tutorials:ADO - WikiWebDriver - Wiki
blb078
I see you don't have the counter incrementing by 1 each time, so what is keeping track of that? Wont the counter always be 0?

I guess it is part of "some code here". I would have used a For-loop. It does the counting for you. While 1 For $iX = 1 To 3 some code here Next FunctionAfterCountMet() WEnd .Some of my scripts: ShiftER, Codec-Control, Resolution switcher for HTC ShiftSome of my UDFs: SDL UDF, SetDefaultDllDirectories, Converting GDI+ Bitmap/Image to SDL Surface
