Calling MATLAB scripts from Autoit

Recommended Posts

Heya all, I'm working on automating a testing procedure, and autoit seems like a good tool for that. As part of that, I need to call run a matlab script. The easiest way to do that seems to be to send a DOS command from autoit. In the command prompt I can simply do:

matlab -nosplash -nodesktop -r T_conversion

Where T_conversion is the name of the script I want to run, loacted in the MATLAB directory. This works great, runs the script witohut opening matlab, perfect. Unfortunately I can't seem to get this command to work in autoit. So far I've beent trying to use RunWait():

RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c matlab -nosplash -r T_conversion")

Should do the trick, but running that command seems to just open Matlab instead of running the matlab script. Any suggestions here? Thanks.

Disregard, it's working fine. Typos are the bane of my existence.
