Array error checking for open Office Apps

Recommended Posts

Would someone be so kind as to provide some guidence on my array problem? I'm attempting to write a script that checks to see what office applications are open. When I test run the script i'm getting the following error message:

"Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded."

Here is my code...

#include <Array.au3>

;Verify test to see if service is running
If ProcessExists("MSACCESS.exe") Then
     MsgBox(0, "", "ACCESS is running.")
Else
MsgBox(0, "", "ACCESS is not running.")
EndIf
If ProcessExists("EXCEL.exe") Then
     MsgBox(0, "", "EXCEL is running.")
Else
MsgBox(0, "", "EXCEL is not running.")
EndIf
If ProcessExists("INFOPATH.exe") Then
     MsgBox(0, "", "INFOPATH is running.")
Else
MsgBox(0, "", "INFOPATH is not running.")
EndIf
If ProcessExists("OUTLOOK.exe") Then
     MsgBox(0, "", "Outlook is running.")
Else
MsgBox(0, "", "Outlook is not running.")
EndIf
If ProcessExists("POWERPNT.exe") Then
     MsgBox(0, "", "POWERPOINT is running.")
Else
MsgBox(0, "", "POWERPOINT is not running.")
EndIf
If ProcessExists("MSPUB.exe") Then
     MsgBox(0, "", "Publisher is running.")
Else
MsgBox(0, "", "MPublisher is not running.")
EndIf
If ProcessExists("WINWORD.exe") Then
     MsgBox(0, "", "WORD is running.")
Else
MsgBox(0, "", "WORD is not running.")
EndIf
If ProcessExists("OIS.exe") Then
MsgBox(0, "", "Picture Manager is running.")
Else
MsgBox(0, "", "Picture Manager is not running.")
EndIf

Local $ProcessArray[8][2] = [ _
     ["MSACCESS.exe", "Microsoft Access"], _
     ["EXCEL.exe", "Microsoft Excel"], _
     ["INFOPATH.exe", "Microsoft Infopath"], _
     ["OUTLOOK.exe", "Microsoft Outlook"], _
     ["POWERPNT.exe", "Microsoft PowerPoint"], _
     ["MSPUB.exe", "Microsoft Publisher"], _
     ["WINWORD.exe", "Microsoft Word"], _
     ["OIS.exe", "Microsoft Office Picture Manager"]]

_ArrayDisplay($ProcessArray, "Array List") ;For testing

For $i = 1 To UBound($ProcessArray) - 1
$ArrayProcess = ProcessExists($ProcessArray[$i][0])
MsgBox(0, "", "The following Office Application is running:" & @CRLF & $ArrayProcess & " " & $ProcessArray[0][$i]) ;For testingNext
exit

Try this change to the MsgBox line in the For loop

$ProcessArray[$I][1]) ;For testing

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
