jdelaney
I'd like to create a Combo that forces a user to select one of the list items...would anyone know the style param needed to do that? Currently, the standard options, allow a user to type in any value. Thanks...here is the sample from autoit helpfile: #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> Example() Func Example() Local $msg GUICreate("My GUI combo") ; will create a dialog box that when displayed is centered GUICtrlCreateCombo("item1", 10, 10) ; create first item GUICtrlSetData(-1, "item2|item3", "item3") ; add other item snd set a new default GUICtrlCreateCombo("item2", 10, 50) ; create first item GUICtrlSetData(-1, "item2|item3", "item3") ; add other item snd set a new default GUISetState() ; Run the GUI until the dialog is closed While 1 $msg = GUIGetMsg() If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then ExitLoop WEnd EndFunc ;==>Example Edited June 19, 2012 by jdelaney IEbyXPATH-Grab IE DOM objects by XPATH IEscriptRecord-Makings of an IE script recorder ExcelFromXML-Create Excel docs without excel installed GetAllWindowControls-Output all control data on a given window. Moderators Melba23 Posted June 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 19, 2012 jdelaney,You need the $CBS_DROPDOWNLIST style for that - and I know the description in the Help file is pretty useless, but that is the offical MS definition. Do not forget you will need to define all the other styles you need as well - see the Setting Styles tutorial in the Wiki to understand why.
