hogfan
I had a hard drive fail in my development machine and ever since I have re-installed autoit and attempted to re-compile my script, it appears autoit3wrapper directives are being ignored. For some reason I thought I had a file, autoit3wrapper.au3 in my includes, rather than the autoit3wrapper.exe. It's been so long since I set that up I don't remember. The directives in my script look like this and were previously working. I am running the latest stable version of Scite. #Region ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** #AutoIt3Wrapper_Icon=magichat.ico #AutoIt3Wrapper_Outfile='C:\Documents and Settings\myUser\Desktop\myApp\Compiled\myApp.exe' #AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_Description= myAppName #AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_Fileversion=1.0.7 #AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_LegalCopyright= myName #AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_Language=1033 #EndRegion ;**** Directives created by AutoIt3Wrapper_GUI **** Any help is appreciated. I need to push out an update of this app, but can get the file versioning working again, and the automatic updates relies on the version check. -hogfan
BrewManNH
Make sure that you have installed the full version of SciTE4AutoIt3 otherwise it won't work with those directives. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
