(i just started using AutoIt yesterday)I want to know if there is any way to make AutoIt skip looking for the control id?ControlMove ("title", "text", controlID, x, y, .......) On the Help file page for ControlMove you can see there is link within the controlID explanation - if you follow it you will find a page that shows you all of the ways to define a control. One of those should help you. See the help file and click on the link to the types of controls you can reference for controlid.
