rick00
Hi, I'm new to Autoit. I trying to installing a program, a installer actually, which downloads a program upon execution, but the problem is that the downloaded program's window body text changes frequently so, I can't I identify the window in Autoit by text. I want know what kind of information does Autoit accept excepting window title/body text? There is a program called 'Control Viewer' show more information about window, but I'm not sure what kind of info. from there can I use to identify window uniquely? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mechaflash
You can omit the "text" argument. Check your helpfile for any of the Win* functions and it will point you to "Title special definition." That will show you a multitude of ways to utilize the "title" argument, including using the window's title, class, targeting the active window, or even by window handle. Spoiler “Hello, ladies, look at your man, now back to me, now back at your man, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped using ladies scented body wash and switched to Old Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on a boat with the man your man could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an oyster with two tickets to that thing you love. Look again, the tickets are now diamonds. Anything is possible when your man smells like Old Spice and not a lady. I’m on a horse.”
