AndyS01
For some reason, many of the AutoIT (SciTE) properties files are located in the "C:\Users\<username>" directory, instead of the "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\Properties" directory. For instance, the 2 user files (au3.user.calltips.api and au3.userudfs.properties) only work if I put them in the "C:\Users\<username>" directory. Is there a configuration setting that does this?I would expect these files to be in the "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\Properties" directory. guinness
It used to be the case that au3.userudfs.properties was in the Properties folder and au3.user.calltips.api in the API folder, but in the current version of SciTE4AutoIt3, Jos changed the internal configuration to point to the %APPDATA% folder. AndyS01
Actually, the files were in C:UsersAndy, not in the directory assigned to %APPDATA% (C:UsersAndyAppDataRoaming).(With these files in C:UsersAndy, I get the tooltip, as expected, but not the colorization. I'll work on this a while and if I still can't get colorization, I'll open another thread.)
