[Help] Creating array

Hi,

how exacly I should use a grid array?, i want to do this: Dim $array[x] = [["info1"],["Info2"],["info3"]]

how can I read info1, using for example $array[1][1], info2 $array[1][2]?

I know it is a noob question, but I'm a bit mess up with arrays :s

to call "a" can i use $array[1][1]?

Why not try it before posting? I would recommend using SciTE4AutoIt3 to run code in the editor.

I need to add about 500 lines to my grid, how can I specify line by line?, it's better create diferrent arrays or a array with all?

a table to search in a column one value and display the others if a match is found...

so i need to write something like this:

Local $aArray[2][3] = [['a', 'b', 'c'] , ['d','f','g']]
Local $aArray[3][3] = [['h', 'i', 'j'] , ['k','l','m']]

?

EDIT: or

Global $aArray[400][3]
$aArray[2][3] = [['a', 'b', 'c'] , ['d','f','g']]

are you telling me that I need to do this:

$arr[400][3] = [[1, 2, 3], [2, 3, 4], [3, 4, 5] ....... & _
[3, 4, 5], [3, 4, 5], [3, 4, 5]]

No quite as you've intialised the array with 400 elements when you wanted 500. Also bare in mind that number 1 in your example is the 0th row in the 0th column, not 1st row in the 1st column, though the tutorial will explain this of course.

yes, in a txt, i could use filereadline with stringsplit, but I don't want creating temporary files

This code is definitely wrong. You need an underscore ("_") if you want to continue on the next line.

Remove the ampersand. Your code should look like:

$arr[400][3] = [[1, 2, 3], [2, 3, 4], [3, 4, 5], _
[3, 4, 5], [3, 4, 5], [3, 4, 5]]

a few months, i wrote with "& _" and it worked...idk why it have changed...
