isy83
Hi all,Unfortunately I formatted (Quick format) an USB-HDD with a vital .au3 script.I tried to start a 'raw recovery' with easy recovery v6, but the file extension *.au3 is not supported by easy recovery.I can add some user specific file extensions, but I have to enter a 'File Signature' and an File 'Offset'. I tried to determine the file properties with 'minidumper' but without success.Does anybody know the 'magic numbers' of the latest .au3 files? Thanks so far! water
I would suggest to use a simple file undelete tool. They can recover any deleted file. isy83
Hi water, thanks for your quick reply! I already tried to use an undelete tool, but the recovered file was corrupt. I think its because of the new partition table of the USB-HDD. Only a 'raw'-recovery can read or recover files, without partition information. But therefor, I need the file signatures. Anyway, can you recommend a undelete tool? I tried easy recovery 6.
water
Haven't used it myself but this sounds good. The free version lets you recover up to 1GB of data.
