Is a math game programmed in AutoIT legal here ?

Recommended Posts

I have an idea to program a simple math game for my daugter (8 yrs) in AutoIT, to train addition.

Is this considered a "legal matter" here ? (for example code / questions). It will not involve any other software, and will be open source (if allowed)

I am just a hobby programmer, and nothing great to publish right now.

Myicq,

Absolutely - games written in AutoIt are positively encouraged. :)

Not to intentionally detract from autoit, you might also check out

You may be better skilled than me at programming, but the above I found a great tool for making kids games. I find even making rudimentary games challenging without a pre-built engine. I made my first game with this companies software when I was twelve.

(I am not affiliated with the above company in any way)

Let's not forget that game doesn't necessarily mean realistic 3D graphics, intelligent AI, and open ended goals. A game can be as simple as telling a child to split a cake in half and whoever cuts the cake has to take the smallest slice.
