Anti-Deobfuscation - Possible?

Recommended Posts

Hi all forumers,

I've been working on it to protect my autoit script, but currently I found no ways! Exe protectors worth nothing [nor Upx or Armadillo]. The only I've found is the cExe, but it still sucks cuz it can be decompiled in 2sec. (It creates a non-packed executably as .tmp, and runs it)

The other way is to protect the source itself. As well you already know here the obfuscator is. Bud sadly it can be easily deobfuscated even in 10sec. (I tried to deobfuscate my near 30k lines long script, and it took max 10 sec!)

Isn't there any way to make the obfuscater a bit unique, and make auto-deobfuscators worthless? (I still know that a hacker can make a unique deobfuscator, but at least noobies can't see my source with a freaky exe and 2 click!

Any good ideas?

As my mother said to me many years ago, a lock is only to keep honest people honest because if someone wants what's behind the lock they'll find a way. The same goes with software, especially with software, because if you come up with ideas worth stealing, or someone doesn't want to pay for it, they'll find a way around anything you put in their way. If Microsoft and Apple can't prevent their OS from being stolen and used for free, do you really think that you have the skills to prevent it?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

How to ask questions the smart way!

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays.  -  ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script.  -  Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label.  -  _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file  -  SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor  -  GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI.  -   Latin Square password generator

If you think UPX is protection you are incredibly ignorant on the subject and need to do significant amounts more research. Either way, thread locked, this subject has been covered to death.
